Did I mention that I sent an email to a digital radio station yesterday asking for a show? I probably won’t get it anyway, so nothing to see here.
I did get a response though, with an application form. And an invite to the studio sometime this week…
I can’t believe how much I still need to do. I just had a conversation with my sister; apparently, I need a particular kind of scarf, 2 yards of lace for a shawl and black slippers. I also realised that my yellow fever jab has run out - I need to get that snappy or I can’t get into the country. I could do with a new suitcase too.
Today I read a poem by Gemma Weekes on Facebook. I was moved enough to send her an email saying ‘thank you’ ultimately. I think saying thank you is nice. People don’t hesitate to complain.
Anyway, One thing lead to another and now I’m a member of her Free Write facebook group. Every Wednesday all members will free write something. The idea is to brain dump and connect with people in the process.
So far, there are only two of us in the group: me and Gemma. I’m sure it will grow, good ideas tend to grow :o)
